Preppy Spring Outfit Idea

With spring just around the corner, I’m already wearing lots of bright and cheerful colors for 60-70 degree weather in Southern California.

Whether you live somewhere warm or are planning a spring getaway, here’s a go-to casual outfit perfect for lunches, running errands, or daytime shopping in a resort town.

I love the pink and green leaf and floral print of this Lilly Pulitzer blouse. It’s made with Lileeze fabric with a hint of stretch…so you look dressy but feel so comfortable! This top has a beautiful drape and pretty ruffle sleeves that cover my slightly saggy over-50 upper arms.

I did a French tuck with this top into my South Ocean high-rise skinny jeans. The French tuck gives a bit of dimension to my figure so the drape-i-ness of the top is somewhat contained and not overwhelming to the rest of my body.

Time to accessorize

I’m really into gold accessories so I wore a gold belt, and these platinum Jack Rogers Comfort Jacks. With the molded footbed, I can stand all day in them!

To complete the look, I added pink tassel earrings, a gold bracelet set, and a pink Apple watch band. The bracelets are stretchy so on and off.
